How To Update To PHP7 Part 2

In this part 2 video, I just want to mention another plugin that can help you prepare your website for the upgrade to PHP 7 if you have not done so yet.

PHP Compatibility Checker by WP Engine.
Purpose: To check if your plugins and themes are compatible with PHP7.
This issue is usually for those older websites that were built 5, 7, or even 10 years ago.
Many of these older websites are a small business, mom and pop stores, and organizations that have not maintained their plugins and themes.

The 2nd plugin that was mentioned in Part 1 is:
Display PHP Version
Purpose: Displays the currently installed PHP version in the “At a Glance” on the WordPress dashboard.

Both plugins are free and available in the WordPress plugin repository for installation.
These two tools should help make your transition to PHP 7 a smooth and seamless upgrade.
