Sometimes you just want to install or create some dynamic content to help stimulate your post or page. The most easiest way to do this is by searching for a plugin that best provides the features you desire.
As one who has built and fixed quite a few WordPress sites over the years, I’ve come to the conclusion that “less is better” as far as plugins go. Do you really need another plugin just to do one simple task? Maybe there is another alternative that doesn’t require a plugin.
In this particular situation one of my tech minded customers wanted to install some animations for his posts. So this post (video) was actually created for him, but I decided to present it as a post on this blog as it may benefit others.
We are going to create is an animated icon for his blog by embedding HTML and CSS into his post. This is quite a simple task with the new page builders and even with the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg).
Basically you just require a HTML or Code module to embed your HTML, and use the Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS: section to insert you CSS scripts.
