Twitter is a free "microblogging" and social-networking. Twitter is what’s happening in the world and what people are talking about right now.
The service allows users to post 140-character messages and follow their friends' activities. Updates appear immediately, and, though you can delete tweets, if other users have reposted them with a comment of their own, those tweets will remain.
